Obituary of Mary Virginia Barry
Mary V. "Ginny" Barry (nee Morgan), entered into eternal peace August 7, 2013. Beloved wife of the late Donald F. Barry. Cherished mother of Patrick D. Barry and Marsha (Barry) Biggie; mother in law of Joan M. Barry and Fred Biggie, who predeceased her. Much loved grandmother of Justin P., Shain P., Travis P. and Brennan P. Barry; also Virginia L. (Biggie) Hebner and Crystal A. (Biggie) Palmer. Great grandchildren Sean J., Brianna K. and Rebecca R. Barry; also, Jared E. and Ashleigh R. Hebner and Nicholas F. Palmer have also been graced by her presence. Nine nieces and nephews have been the beneficiaries of her wisdom.
Ginny was born in 1925, the daughter of George and Agnes Morgan of Warsaw, NY. She is survived by sisters, Charlotte Morgan Crawford and Shirley Morgan Griffith; also brother John Morgan. She was predeceased by brother Michael G. Morgan and sister Kay Morgan Nevinger. Ginny grew up in Wyoming County, NY and graduated from Warsaw Central High School in 1943.
She married the love of her life, D. F. Barry July 20, 1943 in Camp Lejeune, NC, prior to his going to the pacific during WWII. During her formative years she worked in various capacities with local businesses, including Montgomery's. Ginny was an early entrant into the business world and held various positions with a major telecommunications company, culminating in management in the companies' construction segment. Upon her retirement from the communications industry, she resumed her working career in the Livingston County Probation Office.
Her social activities included active membership in the retired communication workers network, Young at Heart Membership and active involvement in the organ donation initiative. Her love of landscaping and gardening is legendary. Ginny will forever be remembered for her quick wit, frankness, endless energy and the passion and delight for her family and friends.

And while her body slumbers here,
Ginny's soul is safe in Heaven."
Mary Virginia requested a private church mass and graveside service for immediate family members at St. Michael's Roman Catholic Church and Cemetery, Warsaw, NY. In lieu of flowers, Ginny requested that memorial donations be sent in her name to the Teresa House, 21 Highland Rd., Geneseo, NY 14454.
