Obituary of Douglas C. Mills

Douglas C. Mills, 86, of Heritage Dr. in Geneseo, died Thursday, May 30, 2013 at Highland Hospital in Rochester, NY. He is survived by his wife, E. Sue Mills, son, William (Beth) Mills of Geneseo, step children, Jennifer Nersinger of Victor, Michael (Christine) Tay of Palm Coast, FL, grandchildren, Douglas, Stewart and Annie Mills, step grandchildren, Austin Petrogina, Michael and Samantha Nersinger, Aidan, Caitlin and Lucy Tay, brother, Donald Mills of Geneseo, many nieces and nephews. He was born August 15, 1926 in Geneseo, NY the son of Walter and Edna Carew Mills. Doug was a WWII U.S. Army Veteran. He was Chief of the Geneseo Police Department, Undersheriff of the Livingston County Sheriffs Department, Superintendent of Temple Hill Cemetery and a Bus Driver for Geneseo Central School. He was a member of St. Michael's Church and the VFW Post 5005 in Geneseo. No Prior Calling Hours. Memorial Services will be held Tuesday, June 4, 2013 at 3 PM at St. Michael's Church with Rev. Eric Thompson officiating. Interment will be in Temple Hill Cemetery in Geneseo. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the V.F.W.
