Remembering Joyce and Dave as the Christians who successfully parented three sons: The public spotlight may shine brightly on Philip Seymour Hoffman, also the parent of three children, but who will, for a while, be recalled as someone who threw his life away. However, deeds done by Joyce as a Red Cross volunteer and by Dave as a Geneseo Ambulance volunteer will be remembered for longer by their co-workers at SUNY Geneseo and by Dave and Joyce's grandchildren.
