Obituary of Larry P. Seaman

Larry P. Seaman, age 72, of Mt. Morris, passed away surrounded by family, Sunday, December 17, 2023 at his residence. He was predeceased by his parents, Peter and Alvina Seaman, sister, Kathy Glidden.

He is survived by his loving wife, Joy Flint Seaman, daughters, Aimee (Mark) Falker of Myrtle Beach, SC, Kara (Ryan) Herman of Warsaw, Shona (Ken) Kral of Scottsville, 4 grandchildren, Jorden and Kameron Falker, Alexis Herman and Evan Kral, siblings, Gary Seaman, Sharon Lindsay, Laurie (Hank) Kyhos, several nieces and nephews.

Larry was born October 4, 1951 in Warsaw, NY the son of Peter and Alvina Bierley Seaman. He was a graduate of York Central School and earned his Associate's Degree from Alfred State College. Larry and Joy have been happily married since 1985. He retired in 2006 from Eastman Kodak in Rochester as a Laboratory Technician. Larry was a member of the Rochester Ski Club, Kodak Ski Club and a Ski Patrolman at Swain after his retirement from Kodak. He was also a member of the Monday after work Horseshoe League. Larry made wine for a hobby and it was enjoyed by all that tried it.

No prior calling hours. Memorial Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family. Private interment will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery in York.
