Obituary of Elizabeth "Betty" Sliker
Elizabeth "Betty" Sliker, age 83, of Leicester, died Tuesday, October 31, 2023 at the Livingston County Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Mt. Morris, NY. She was predeceased by her siblings, Bill, Virginia and Genevieve.
She is survived by her husband, Lester Sliker, daughters, Leslie (Michael) Brado of Pittsford, Laura (Paul Miller) Scondras of Leicester, 11 grandchildren, several great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews.
Betty was born August 11, 1940 in Nunda, NY the daughter of Howard and Nellie Whitney Andrews. She was the Director of Personnel for Livingston County before her retirement. Betty and Les enjoyed traveling after retiring. They were often traveling in their Motorhome during the winter months to visit friends.
Calling hours will be held on Monday, November 6, 2023 from 4-7 PM at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo where her Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, November 7, 2023 at 10 AM with Pastor Eric Kelly officiating. Interment will be in Leicester Cemetery.
