I was so sorry to hear of Betty's passing. We first met when Laura and Kristen were in Pony Club. When I returned from Arizona she was gracious enough to offer me a part-time position. I was very grateful for the opportunity and eventually took tests and I qualified for full time employment. After 20 years I finally retired! I will forever be grateful for her kindness. She was a great boss and the whole office got along famously.
I have had pneumonia recently and it has left me dizzy and weak. So I probably will not be able to come down to the funeral home. I no longer drive or have a car. I just wanted you to know how much Betty's friendship met to me, she was very special as I am sure you all agree.
