Obituary of Dr. Robert S. Rutherford

Dr. Robert S. "Stan" Rutherford, age 95, of Reservoir Rd. in Geneseo, died Wednesday, January 29, 2014 at the Livingston County Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Mt. Morris. Stan was predeceased by his wife, Clyde in 1994. He is survived by his wife, Linda, several nieces, nephews and many dear friends. Robert was born June 5, 1918 in Huntsville, OH the son of Robert A. and Hazel Fullerton Rutherford. He was a World War II Coast Guard veteran. Dr. Rutherford was an esteemed Communications Professor at SUNY Geneseo until his retirement in 1987. Funeral Services will be held May 3, 2014 at 3 PM at the Huntsville Presbyterian Church, 6490 Fruit St. in Huntsville, OH. Interment will be in Huntsville Cemetery, Huntsville, OH.
