Obituary of Clarence C. Orman

Clarence R. "Ike" Orman Jr., 77, of Cameron, NC, formerly of Geneseo and Livonia, died Saturday, January 18, 2014 at Pine Lake Rehab Facility in Carthage, NC. He was predeceased by his wife, Mary Ann and brother, Larry Orman. He is survived by his children, Brenda, Bob (Mary), Diane (Mark) Gridley, Jeffrey (Elin), Michael (Amy), nine grandchildren, four great grandchildren, brothers, Dick (Colleen), Ken (Linda), sisters, Eileen Artlip and Cheryl (Randy) Overbey, sisters in law, Barbara Orman, Betty (Don) Beach, fiancé, Patty Abraham. Ike was born September 16, 1936 in Rochester, NY the son of Clarence Robert and Ethel Mae Prior Orman Sr. He was a graduate of Livonia High School and was proud to have been inducted into their Sports Hall of Fame in 2012. Ike was retired from Star Market in Geneseo where he served as store manager. He retired to Cameron, NC in 1985. If you are a golfer, join "the boys" on Saturday, July 19, 2014 for an 8 AM start of 18 holes at Conesus Golf Club, 1 Pine Alley in Conesus. At 1 PM we will Celebrate Ike's Life with a Graveside Service at Lakeview Cemetery in Groveland (casual attire please). A picnic will follow at the Groveland Fireman's Pavilion (2PM - 'till).
