So sorry to read of your loss.
I knew Ike when I was a younger. He didn't remember me when I shopped at the Star MKT. I would say to him hi you know my sister and brother and he'd remember them. My sister in school with him and brothers not far behind. I knew Mary Ann's family. I grew up and still live on Groveland Hill.

Grandpa,
You have been in my life from the time I was born until now. I knew you would always be there for me. Going to breakfast in the mornings was always a good time because we would see glimpses of your joking self. I hope that you are at peace now with Granny in heaven and I'm glad that you are no longer in pain. I love you Grandpa.

Dad,
I know how proud you were of your kids, grandkids and great grandchildren. Your legacy (and Mom's) will be passed on through the "normalcy" you instilled in all of us. I will especially miss the golf and baseball conversations and the times at Ponderosa.

Grandpa, it seems like yesterday when I was spending the weekend at your house, eating junk food for dinner, and you telling me to not make so much noise playing indoor basketball. I have so many good memories of Grandpa. I have always loved being his last grandkid, and loved even more the one day trips to your house and playing the 15th hole at Ponderosa. The Orman's and your last grandchild will love and miss you.

Ike and MaryAnn raised 5 wonderful children. What a legacy they have left! I am honored to be married to one of them. I remember how much it meant to me when Ike said, "Welcome to the family Amy," the day I married Mike Orman. I have been a part of this special family for over 20 years now and we are blessed. I will miss you Ike.

Many fond memories of all the Ormans, but especially Ike at Star Market when we opened Bestway Pharmacy next door in 1979. He was a great help to us. See you all in July. Geoffrey Staley

I am so thankful for eighteen years with you as my grandpa. Although I am heartbroken that you're no longer here on earth, I find so much peace in knowing you're no longer in pain. You taught me the value of family. You and Granny raised the best five children and I feel so lucky to have one as my dad. I am reminded now more than ever that life is such a precious gift and that it is so important to take advantage of every opportunity to spend time with family and tell people you love them. I will be thinking of you and Granny this Friday and celebrating your anniversary. I love you, Grandpa and will miss you so much. Now every time I see a cardinal, not only will I think of Granny, but I'll think of you. I'll always root for your St. Louis Cardinals, too!
