To my mother:
I will always be grateful to you for giving me life. I am focusing on the good memories I have of being your eldest daughter, the one who made you a mother for the first time. I hope that you are in a better place, free of pain. I am saddened that I and my children are not listed on this obituary, but listed or not, we are not invisible. I choose to believe that you know you were loved by us, despite any differences we may have had.
