Obituary of Rickey R. Boyd

Rickey R. Boyd, age 63, of Leicester, died Monday, November 9, 2020 at his residence. He was predeceased by his parents, George and Nancy Boyd.

He is survived by his son, Zac Boyd of Geneseo, brother, Randy (Sharon) Boyd of Castile, sisters, Robin Weiland of Piffard, Roslyn Kelly of Silver Springs, NY, several nieces and nephews.

Rickey was born August 2, 1957 in Warsaw, NY the son of George and Nancy Little Boyd. He was a graduate of Letchworth Central School class of 1975. Rick always dressed in overalls and a welding hat. He was well known for his talent as a welder and fabricator. Time meant nothing to him if there was a story to tell, especially reminiscing with friends. He enjoyed pickin' guitar along with a few night caps with no worries thinking about tomorrow. Rick will surely be missed but never forgotten.

Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, November 17, 2020 from 4-7 PM at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo. Memorial Services will be held privately at the convenience of the family.
