Obituary of Henry Hunter Fraser Jr.
Henry Hunter Fraser, Jr., age 95, of Morgan Estates in Geneseo, left to be with the Lord Sunday, September 20, 2020 at his residence. He was predeceased by his wife of 63 years, Harriette "Mimi" Fraser and his brother, James Fraser.
He is survived by his sons, Dr. Thomas (Dr. Janis) Fraser of Newton, MA, Robert (Linda) Fraser of Fairport, Steven Fraser of Pittsford, grandchildren, Stacey (Joseph) Mooney, Joseph Fraser, Whitney (Eli) Fraser, Dr. Hunter Fraser, great grandchildren, Joseph and Megan Mooney, Lia Fraser, sister in law, June Fraser of Mt. Morris, several nieces and nephews.
Hunter was born November 6, 1924 in Groveland, NY the son of Henry Hunter and Mary Elizabeth Buchanan Fraser Sr. He was a US Army Air Corps B-26 Bomber Pilot during World War II. Hunter earned his Bachelor's Degree from SUNY Geneseo and his Master's Degree from the University of Rochester. He retired from the Rochester City School System as a Superintendent after many devoted years to his students. Hunter enjoyed hiking with his wife, Mimi in Letchworth State Park and spent over 40 years enjoying his cottage at Silver Lake.
No prior calling hours. A Celebration of Hunter's life will be held at the convenience of the family. Private Interment will be in Mt. Morris Cemetery.
