Obituary of Carol J. Coye

Carol J. Coye, age 92, of Canadice, died Tuesday, September 8, 2020 at F.F. Thompson Memorial Hospital in Canandaigua, NY. She was predeceased by her husband, Wendell Coye, son, Clark Coye and daughter in law, Jeannette Coye.

She is survived by her sons, Wayne Coye of Canadice, Kelly (Martha) Coye of Rochester, Scott (Jim) Coy of Los Angeles, CA, Glenn (Kimberly) Coye of Penfield, 4 grandchildren, 3 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.

Carol was born December 30, 1927 in Naples, NY the daughter of Wallace and Maude Washburn Jennings. She was a 1944 graduate of Naples Central School. Carol was a member of the Rochester Chorus of Sweet Adelines International, the American Legion Ladies Auxiliary in Honeoye and the Flying Farmers Association. Carol was a longtime member of the Canadice United Methodist Church.

The Coye family would like to extend their thanks and gratitude to Carol's friends for their love and support. We would also like to thank the staff at F.F. Thompson Hospital for the exceptional care she received during her stay.

No prior calling hours. A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, September 26, 2020 at 12 PM at the Canadice United Methodist Church with Pastor Ron Palmer officiating. Interment will be in the Canadice United Methodist Church Cemetery.
