Obituary of Betty A. Nevin

Betty A. Dills Nevin, age 89, of York, passed away peacefully, Monday, August 10, 2020 at her residence. She was predeceased by her sisters, Jean Kinney and Barbara O'Prean.

She is survived by her husband, Samuel Nevin Jr., children, Michael (Colleen) Nevin of York, Karen (Ray) Valone of Webster, Kathy (Terry) Bullard of Churchville, Julie (Sam) Guinta of Livonia, Samuel (Sherri) Nevin of York, grandchildren, Sarah (Shaun) Boland, Eric Nevin, Ryan and Brett Bullard, Tom Guinta, Jessica, Sam and Courtney Nevin, sister, Evelyn Frazier of FL, several nieces, nephews and cousins.

Betty was born January 29, 1931 in Batavia, NY the daughter of Richard and Ruth Belt Dills. She was a longtime and the most senior member at the York United Presbyterian Church. Betty was also a member of the Golden Hands Group, a crafting group in the York area as well as the Covington Daylighters.

Due to COVID-19 there will be no prior calling hours. Private Funeral Services will be held at the York United Presbyterian Church with Rev. Michelle Sumption officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery in York.
