Our condolences for your family at this difficult time. I had the pleasure of leading into the wilderness for multi-week hunting trips with Jerry, Earl and the Lemcke clan. Jerry was a fine caring man who enjoyed being around our horses during our early bear/deer hunting expeditions at Wells, NY. He was a wealth of knowledge and shared many great stories with our group around the woodstove. He proudly represented the Rochester Fire profession. He will be missed, and fondly remebered.

Memories 80 years of memories. How can I put them all here? Birthdays, graduations,{ours, then our kids then grand kids} weddings, anniversaries,{first our parents then ours,} We cant forget our hunting, fishing, gun shows or just going for a ride if we needed a lift. How about those times for pizza and wings with Anne and Peg. Memories, there is to many to put here. Memories are one gift of God that death cannot destroy so rest easy old friend

What a wonderful man ! Jerry's two great loves were his family and the fire service. I have fond remembrances of many firemen's banquets where Jerry had a kind word for all. We never really lose the people we love since our memories help keep them close to us. May your memories help in the days ahead. My deepest sympathy.

MY CONDOLENCES TO THE FAMILY AND FRIENDS. When I join the fire service in 1980 here in Springwater F.D. Jerry was my instructor for many years. He taught me a lot and I have a lot of memories from working in the fire service and schooling. About 5 years ago I ran into Jerry in Bath sportsman show.We talked about turkey hunting for a good amount of time. Jerry had a passion for turkey hunting like I do.I told Jerry that we should get together and I would call for him .Time flies and we never did.So heart go out to the family and friends. Thoughts and p6rayers are with you and your family. Bob Wyatt.

Most Heartfelt condolences to Peggy, Shawn, Amy, Tracy & their Families. Jerry was such a nice and fun man. I'm so glad to be able to call him Family. He came from good stock. Harry was such a wonderful man and Jerry learned so much from him. Jerry and all of his Cousins were so close, it was amazing to be around them. Jennifer along my Mom, Step Dad, and Sister send the Warmest Prayers.

I grew up with Jerry’s daughter Tracy. I didn’t ever get to meet him but I know that he brought up a wonderful caring family all while being a hero firefighter. This tells me lol that I need to know. Rest well Jerry, it’s only BBQs in heaven so at least you can still play with fire.
