Obituary of Lea M. Vitello

Lea M. Vitello, age 87, a resident of Morgan Estates in Geneseo, formerly of Pittsford, died Tuesday, November 12, 2019. She was predeceased by her husband, Daniel Vitello.

She is survived by her children, Don (Juli) Vitello of Philadelphia, PA, Nancy (Bob) Mikiska of Spokane, WA, Steven (Chernee) Vitello of Geneseo, grandchildren, Carson Vitello, Peter Vitello, Abby Mikiska, Emma Vitello and Ellie Mikiska, brother, Dr. John (Martha) Buoni of Williamstown, MA, sister, Cathy (Dennis) Kochi of Fairfield, CT, several nieces and nephews.

Lea was born July 19, 1932 in Bronx, NY the daughter of Pasquale and Gina Ricci Buoni. She earned her Associates Degree from Monroe Community College in Rochester. Lea retired from the Rochester Institute of Technology as an Administrative Assistant. She was active in the Literacy Volunteers of Rochester program. Lea was a member of St. Catherine of Siena Church in Mendon and their Monsignor Schnacky Community Players.

No prior calling hours. Her Funeral mass will be held on Saturday, November 16, 2019 at 10 AM at St. Mary's Church, 4 Avon Rd. in Geneseo with Father Jeff Tunnicliff officiating.
