Obituary of Sarah F. DeMunn

Sarah F. "Sally" DeMunn, age 75, of Leicester, died Sunday, November 3, 2019 at Noyes Memorial Hospital in Dansville, NY. She is survived by her husband Joe DeMunn Sr., children, Joe (Patrice) DeMunn Jr. of Leicester, Molly (Bruce) Van Wyk of Piffard, Mike (Pearl Steiner) DeMunn of Conesus, grandchildren, Cody and Aaron (Liz) DeMunn, Jake and Will Van Wyk, Kristin and Kierra Rawleigh. Sally was born January 22, 1944 in Rochester, NY the daughter of Alec and Rilla Carson Faulds. She was a graduate of Geneseo High School class of 1962 and also the Rochester Business Institute in 1964. She worked as a Type Setter for Sanders Publications in Geneseo and retired from the Genesee Valley Penny Saver in East Avon. Sally was a longtime member of the Good Ol' Boys Club in Mt. Morris where she served as Secretary. Calling hours will be held on Wednesday, November 6, 2019 from 4-7 PM at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo where her Funeral Services will be held on Thursday, November 7, 2019 at 11 Am with Pastor Flint Burley officiating. Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery in York. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Teresa House, 21 Highland Rd., Geneseo, NY 14454.
