Obituary of Mary Grace "Babe" Grant

Mary Grace "Babe" Grant, age 92, of Piffard, died Thursday, September 19, 2019 at Highland Hospital in Rochester, NY. She was predeceased by her husband, William Grant in 1995 and her brother, Frank Rose. She is survived by her daughters, Kathy (Kenneth) Hubacher, Betsy (Keith) Ott, grandsons, Michael Hubacher, Brian (Kristin) Hubacher, great grandchildren, Jase and Adalyn Mae Hubacher all of Geneseo, sisters, Ruth Cuppernull of VA, Joan Cadigan of Lakeville, brother in law, John (Anne) Grant of Orchard Park, many nieces and nephews. Mary was born September 26, 1926 in Warsaw, NY the daughter of Charles and Gertrude Biondolillo Rose. Babe owned and operated Mary Rose Beauty shop in Piffard for many years before her retirement. She was a longtime member of St. Mary's Church in Geneseo. Calling hours will be held on Tuesday, September 24, 2109 from 4-7 PM at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo. Her Funeral Mass will be held on Wednesday, September 25, 2019 at 10 AM at St. Mary's Church, 4 Avon Rd. in Geneseo with Father Jeff Tunnicliff officiating. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Geneseo. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Mary's Church, 13 North St., Geneseo, NY 14454.
