Obituary of Mary C. McKeown

Mary C. McKeown, age 93, of Geneseo, passed away peacefully Monday, August 26, 2019 surrounded by her family at Livingston County Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Mt. Morris, NY. She was predeceased by her husband, Gordon McKeown, son-in-law, Robert Young, siblings, William and Carl Chandler and Agnes Sanders. She is survived by her children, Helen Young of Geneseo, Raymond McKeown of Dundee, grandchildren, Matthew (Beth) Young of Avon, Rebecca (Joseph) Tisa of Greece, 6 great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Mary was born May 29, 1926 in Lewiston, NY the daughter of Edgar and Helen McCabe Chandler. She retired from the Livingston County Clerk's office and then the Fire Service Coordinators office for Livingston County. Mary was a longtime member of the York United Presbyterian Church. No prior calling hours. Graveside Services will be held on Friday, August 30, 2019 at 11 AM in Pleasant Valley Cemetery in York with Rev. Michelle Sumption officiating.
