Obituary of Dorothy C. Barber

Dorothy C. Barber, age 84, of Mt. Morris, died Monday, April 1, 2019 at the Livingston County Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Mt. Morris, NY. She was predeceased by her husband, Richard Barber and brother, Martin "Butch" Smith.

She is survived by her daughters, Linda (Brian) Kent of Linwood, Brenda (Howard) Teed of Hemlock, step daughter, Diane (Chuck Northrup) Ashley of Wyoming, 9 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, 1 great great granddaughter, sister, Martha (Skip) Linsner of Mt. Morris, several nieces and nephews.

Dorothy was born February 21, 1935 in Lima, NY the daughter of Walter and Lucille Harington Smith. She retired from Applied Energy Solutions in Caledonia where she worked for over 28 years.

Calling hours will be held on Thursday, April 4, 2019 from 4-7 PM at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo where Funeral Services will be held at 7 PM with Lucille Kane officiating. Private burial will be in West Bloomfield Rural Cemetery.
