Obituary of Roseann Murphy

Roseann Murphy, age 79, of Geneseo, died Thursday, May 17, 2018 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY. She was predeceased by her daughters, Elaine Murphy and Lorraine Mangini, son, James Murphy III and brother, Michael Stellate. She is survived by her son, Michael Murphy of New Rochelle, NY, daughter, Roseann (Mike) Gates of Retsof, 7 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews. Roseann was born July 26, 1938 in Mt. Vernon, NY the daughter of Michael P. and Angelina Palumbo Stellate. She was a retired Bank Teller and a member of St. Mary's Church in Geneseo. No prior calling Hours. Her Funeral Mass will be held Tuesday, May 22, 2018 at 10 am at St. Mary's Church, 4 Avon Rd. in Geneseo with Father Bernard Dan officiating. Burial will be in Holy Sepulcher Cemetery, New Rochelle, NY on Wednesday, May 23 at 11 am. .
