Obituary of Alice D. Pringle

Alice D. Pringle, age 82, of York, died Sunday, April 29, 2018 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY. She was predeceased by her husband Jerry in 2002, her siblings, John, Pete and Bill Doolittle and her sister, Elsie Hart.

She is survived by her children, Robin Pringle of York, Rex (Karin) Pringle of Maryville, TN, grandson Scott Pringle of Maryville, TN, sisters, Emma Crawford and Helen Wolfe, both of York, many nieces, nephews and cousins.

Alice was born March 11, 1936 in York, NY the daughter of Claude and E. Louise Doolittle. She was a graduate of York Central School. Alice was retired from York Central School in Retsof where she was the Payroll Secretary in the Business Office. Alice was a longtime member of the York United Presbyterian Church.

Friends may call on Saturday, May 5, 2018 from 2-6 PM at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo. Funeral Services will be held on Sunday, May 6, 2018 at 2 PM at the York United Presbyterian Church with Rev. Michelle Sumption officiating. Burial will follow in Pleasant Valley Cemetery in York.
