Alice is the oldest of the Harris cousins and she was honored by given the name of our Granmother Harris. “ Alice Maude” I recall grownups calling grandma “Maude” while cousin Alice was always “Alice Maude”.
I remember as a child visiting Alice Maude, Eddie, and Ronnie in Retsof. Her home was a treasure of glassware and tables. That is how I remember the home. Ronnie, Dick, and I would play outside. Mom (Thelma) was afraid we would break something. The Parkers would often visit us at the farm in Corfu. Again we would explore the fields and barns.
Over the years Mom and Alice Maude stayed connected with birthday cards and phone calls. At 93 and 95 they both had a good run!
Our sympathy goes out to the family. She will not be forgotten.
Love,
Bill and Diane Langworthy Santora
