Obituary of Kevin V. Haley

Kevin V. Haley, 55, of Geneseo, died Monday, August 12, 2013 at the Livingston County Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Mt. Morris, NY. He was predeceased by his parents Bill and Mary Haley. He is survived by his children, Daniel Haley and Stacey (Jeff) Chien of Geneseo, twin brother, Christopher Haley of Geneseo, sisters, Karen (David) Dewar and Kimberly (Tom) Moran of Geneseo, Kolleen (Malachy) Coyne of Avon, several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins and the caring staff at the Livingston County Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation. Kevin was born September 6, 1957 in Dansville, NY the son of William and Mary Neis Haley. He was a 1975 graduate of Geneseo Central School. He was employed at Roy's Mobil Station on Main St. in Geneseo, Buell Oil in Geneseo and later at ATOCHEM in Piffard. He was a member of the Geneseo and Groveland Fire Departments. Visitation will be held at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo on Thursday, August 15, 2013 from 4-7 PM. A Memorial Mass will be held Friday, August 16, 2013 at 10 AM at St. Mary's Church, 4 Avon Rd. in Geneseo with Father Edward Dillon officiating. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Geneseo. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Geneseo Fire Department, PO Box 428, Geneseo, NY 14454 or the Livingston County Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation, 11 Murray Hill Dr., Mt. Morris, NY 14510.
