Obituary of Carolee Ann Metz

Carolee Ann Artlip Metz, age 56, of Dansville formerly of Geneseo, died Tuesday, November 28, 2017 at the Wyoming County Community Nursing Home in Warsaw, NY. She was predeceased by her parents, David and Carol Artlip, nephew, Eric Keenan. She is survived by her daughter, Melissa Ann Guckenbiehl of Lima, granddaughters, Sadie Elizabeth and Emily Rose Guckenbiehl, sisters, Shonalee (Denis) Schwartz of Webster's Crossing, NY, Linda (Larry) Minch of Hilton, Heidilee (Emily) Carrington-Heath of Exeter, NH, step mother, Eileen Artlip of FL. Carolee was born February 15, 1961 in Rochester, NY the daughter of David and Carol Peters Artlip. She was employed by Stever Locke Industries in Honeoye Falls, NY and retired from Livingston-Wyoming ARC in Mt. Morris. She was a former member of the Genesee Valley Hunt Club and an avid reader. No prior calling hours. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, December 4, 2017 at 4 PM at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Genesee Valley Conservancy, P.O. Box 73, Geneseo, NY 14454.
