Obituary of George M. Marks

George M. Marks, age 77, of York, died Wednesday, July 5, 2017 at his residence. He is survived by his wife, Bertha Kiefer Marks, children, Lisa Ashcraft of Honeoye, Connie (Billy Tombari) Cannon of Pavilion, George (Jessica Dunn) Marks of York, 8 grandchildren, Jhenna Ashcraft, Jennifer (Zachary Kelley) Cannon, Ashley Ashcraft, Jared Dean Rivers, Kyle, Justin, Stella and Taylor Marks, his sister, Kim Charles of Canisteo, several nieces and nephews. George was born April 12, 1940 in North Hornell, NY the son of Merlin Lee and Winona Williams Marks. He was a US Navy Vietnam Era Veteran. George was employed by Wegman's Grocery Stores in Rochester in their warehouse division. No prior calling hours. Funeral Services will be private at the convenience of the family.
