Obituary of James N. Chest

James N. Chest, age 64, of Leicester, died Thursday, June 22, 2017 at Strong Memorial Hospital in Rochester, NY. He was predeceased by his father, James Chest.

He is survived by his wife, Melody Spuck Chest, sons, Scott (Josie) Chest of CO, Casey Chest of Geneseo, grandchildren, Felicia, Jessie, Marissa Seeley, mother, Doris Chest of Avon, sister, Norene Chesterton of Henrietta, many nieces and nephews.

Jim was born September 27, 1952 in Albion, NY the son of James and Doris Scott Chest. He was a US Army Vietnam Veteran. Jim was a Production Forman for American Rock Salt in Mt. Morris. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoyed playing golf and a Buffalo Bills Fan.

Calling hours will be held on Monday, June 26, 2017 from 4-7 PM at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo where Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, June 27, 2017 at 10 AM with Rev. Dave Hotchkiss officiating. Interment will be in St. Agnes Cemetery in Avon.
