Obituary of Douglas C. Roblee

Douglas C. "Dudley" Roblee, age 69, of North St. in Leicester, died Friday, March 3, 2017 at the Buffalo Veterans Hospital. He was predeceased by his sister Susanne Peters. He is survived by his wife, Patricia Smith Roblee, daughter, Andrea Farruggia of Leicester, son, John (Lynn Cash) Roblee of Leicester, grandsons, Evan and Anthony Farruggia, sisters, Kathy Roblee of Leroy, Brenda Embrey of Hilton, brother, Jimmy (Karen Oswald) Roblee of Leicester, uncle, John Bleistein of Delevan, NY; several nieces, nephews and many cousins. Dudley was born May 17, 1947 in Arcade, NY the son of Wayne and Marjorie Schultz Roblee. He was a US Army Vietnam War veteran. Dudley was an avid golfer having been a member of several area golf courses including Livingston Country Club in Geneseo, Silver Lake Country Club in Perry, Triple Creek Golf Club and Woodlyn Hills Golf Course, both in Nunda and most recently Davis Countryside Meadows Golf Club in Pavilion. No prior calling hours. A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at BW's Restaurant at Davis Countryside Meadows, 11070 Perry Rd. in Pavilion at 1 PM. Interment, Leicester Cemetery.
