Obituary of Mildred M. Harcleroad

Mildred M Harcleroad, age 97, of School St. in Cuylerville, died Tuesday, February 21, 2017 at the Livingston County Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Mt. Morris. She was predeceased by her husband, Shannon Harcleroad Sr., son, Shannon Harcleroad Jr. and many siblings. She is survived by her children, Peggy (Alvin) Laney of Cuylerville, Eleanor (Frank) Bryant of MT, Robert (Sue) Harcleroad of West Sparta, many grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren, brother, Richard (Harriet) Kemp of West Sparta, many nieces and nephews. Peg was known as the neighborhood grandma in Cuylerville. Mildred was born March 2, 1919 in Hubbard, OH the daughter of John and Frances Panning Kemp. She retired after many years from Champion Products in Geneseo. Peg was a member of the Mt. Morris American Legion Ladies Auxiliary, Sunday School Teacher and longtime member of the Leicester Presbyterian Church. The family would like to thank Peg's caregivers at the Livingston County C. N. R. for her wonderful care. Friends may call Thursday, February 23, 2017 from 4-7PM at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo where Funeral Services will follow visitation at 7 PM with David Missel officiating. Burial will be on Friday, February 24, 2017 at 11 AM at Leicester Cemetery.
