Obituary of Frank J. Nuciola Sr.

Frank J. Nuciola, Sr., age 72, of Brooklyn St. in Akron, formerly of York, died Friday, February 17, 2017 at the Sisters of Charity Hospital in Buffalo, NY. He was predeceased by his son, Frank J. Nuciola Jr., former longtime companion, Debbie, sisters, Concetta Welton, Geneva Nuciola, Mary Ann Vohs, brothers, Samuel, Joseph, Carmen, and Frank Nuciola. He is survived by his wife, Michele Nuciola, daughter, Kimberly Nuciola of Perry, step sons, David Case and Jacob May both of Akron, grandchildren, Justin, Hope, Tabatha, Mark and Joshua, great grandchildren Lilly and Wesley, sisters, Rose Hutchinson of Batavia, Clara Nuciola of Dalton, several nieces and nephews including special niece, Concetta and nephew, Mark. Frank was born November 6, 1944 in York, NY the son of Joseph and Rose Carrican Nuciola. He retired from the Chloride Electro Networks in Caledonia. Frank was an avid hunter, fisherman and all around outdoorsman. He also enjoyed playing cards and spending time with his family. Visitation hours will be held at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo on Monday, February 20, 2017 from 11AM-1PM where Funeral Services will follow visitation at 1 PM with Mabel Treadwell officiating.
