Obituary of William A. Davidson

William A. "Wilbur" Davidson, age 60, of Hogmire Rd. in Avon, formerly of Retsof, passed away Monday, October 24, 2016 after a hard fought battle with cancer at his residence, surrounded by his family. He is survived by his wife, Michele, children, Michael Davidson of Brooklyn, Courtney Davidson of CA, sister, Linda (John) Rice of Avon, several nieces, nephews, cousins, his dog Molly and many wonderful friends. Wilbur was born May 8, 1956 in Warsaw, NY the son of Alex and Geraldine Faulds Davidson. He was a Graduate of York Central School and employed as a carpenter for Ramsey Construction of Dansville. Wilbur was a man of few words with a great sense of humor whose priority was his family. He also enjoyed traveling, music and time with friends. Friends may call Thursday, October 27, 2016 from 4-7 PM at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo with a Celebration of Wilbur's Life immediately following visitation at the Idle Hour, 5 Center St. in Geneseo.
