Obituary of Gertrude Meyer

E. Gertrude Meyer, 95, of Rosebrugh Rd. in Groveland, died Friday, July 12, 2013 at her residence. She was predeceased by her husband Harold Meyer in 1977, and 7 brothers, 2 sisters. She is survived by her children, Douglas (Nancy) Meyer of Groveland, Dean (Phyllis) Meyer of Groveland, Donna (James) Gray of Geneseo, grandchildren, Jeffrey (Nilsa) Meyer of Brockport, Julie (David) Merges of Farmington, Jamie (Veronica) Meyer of MI, Kelli (Russell) Harvey of Groveland, Bret (Tammy) Meyer of Groveland, Colleen (Jeffrey) Brown of Geneseo, Adam (Kelly) Meyer of Geneseo, Christopher (Katie) Gray of Geneseo, 22 great grandchildren, sister, Mary Spencer of Geneseo, many nieces and nephews. She was born November 25, 1917 in Groveland, NY the daughter of Henry and Jane Mullen Adamson. Gertrude was an active member of the Groveland Federated Parish. Visitation will be held at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo on Sunday from 1-4 PM. Funeral Services will be held Monday, July 15, 2013 at 11 AM at the Groveland Federated Parish with Dorothy Hotchkiss officiating. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery in Groveland. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Groveland Federated Parish, 6616 Groveland Hill Rd., Groveland, NY 14462 or the Livingston County Hospice, 2 Murray Hill Dr., Mt. Morris, NY 14510.
