Obituary of Mary L. Sinclair

Mary L. Sinclair of York, died Saturday June 18, 2016 at age 87 years. She was predeceased by her husband, John Sinclair, a son- in- law, Stephen Petzen, brother’s and sister’s, Gladys Dorey, Eddie Hulburt, LaVina Corris, Margaret Weidman, Roy Hulburt and Bayne Hulburt. She is survived by one daughter, Joan Petzen of Cuba, NY, several nieces and nephews including Patty Stewart of York. Mary was born July 13, 1928 in York, NY the daughter of Roy and Pearl Mann Hulburt. She was married at the York United Presbyterian Church to John Sinclair in June of 1950, who predeceased her on October 14, 2012 after 62 years of marriage. She was a retiree of the York Central School Cafeteria and Sinclair Farms. Mary was an original member of the York United Presbyterian Church Friendship Class. In her later years, she enjoyed her home and spending time baking cookies and tending to her flowers. Friends may call Wednesday, June 22, 2016 from 4-8 PM at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo. Memorial Services will be held Wednesday, July 13, 2016 at 11 AM at the York United Presbyterian Church. Private burial in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Fowlerville.
