Thank you for the memories you gave us through your love and presence on this earth, they will endure the ages and insure that you are never forgotten on this physical plane. The laughter and joy you brought so many, the hope and solace you gave, the love and joy you instilled make you as immortal here as in heaven. Go now and observe as you sit with the divine providence, rest in peace and know that your presence in all of us will endure.
Thank you for all the love and memories.
Love

We were saddened to hear of Father G.'s passing. He was a wonderful man loved by many. Unfortunately we were unable to attend the services, but please know of our love and prayers for the family at this very difficult time. He helped so many people during his ministry. My sister said something very thought provoking. She said this was a joyous time because he would finally meet the one he served for over a half a century. His life emulated service and his Christianity. RIP Father G!

I met Father when I attended St. Mary's school in 1968 the year my own Dad passed away. He was a strong force in my life for the 3 years he was at St Mary's. He is a person that when I hear his name even after all of these years,, brings a smile to my face. This world has lost one of the Good Ones!

Father Gordinier was a greatly respected and beloved pastor of St. Mary's parish community in Geneseo. He was well known by all of us Catholics in Livingston County as both a spiritual advisor and religious leader. Condolences to his family and all in our diocese who knew him. Eternal rest in heaven, dear Father Gordinier, for a lifetime of service and love to our church.

You were always a great example of how to lead a life of helping others while always making the most of ourselves through learning and connecting with as many different people as possible. Your stories and example always had a point. Your connection with people is your lasting legacy as you constantly made connections and called everyone by name. This was especially evident when you knew the workers at St. Joseph's Mother House by name (many of whom were from other countries). You knew all of the nums, where they served and their ages. You would take us on tours of the Mother House like you were showing off the place and us to the inhabitants. You were so much more than can be put into words. You spread God's love with everyday you lived. Our visits would end with some anxiety where you would try and ask for something, anything to not have us leave. Lately you were much more OK with our departures, and your latest departure to be with God. You told your sister Ginny, that you were ready to go Home a week ago. I am so happy for you to have the just reward for your many years of service, compassion and love towards your fellow man. I love you and can never thank you for all that you have been to me and our family.

I remember once on an application for, I think, Rotary club, there was the question about your spouse and he wrote in "nun". He was an incredible man and priest. RIP Father.

My family has wonderful memories of him at St. Mary's Church in Geneseo. He married my husband and me in 1993. And he comforted my family when my mother passed. I always have happy thoughts of how he captured my girls attention when he spoke. This amazing man will be greatly missed. Prayers for his family, friends, and church family. God Bless

Thank you to everyone for the tremendous outpouring of love shown in the last few days concerning the passing of our uncle Fr. William J. "Gordy", "Billy Joe" Gordinier. I know that he was well loved at the parishes where he was stationed and where he spent the last seven years, the Mother House of the Sisters of St Joseph in Pittsford. He built friendships, promoted Christian values, was always positive and gave 100% in all that he did as a servant of the Lord. His suffering and frustration on this mortal coil is over and he has joined his sister Kate and his parents in Paradise! Amen!
