Obituary of Leon R. Carman

Leon R. "Skip" Carman Jr., 81, of Upper Bean Hill Rd. in Groveland, died Friday, June 28, 2013 at Noyes Memorial Hospital in Dansville, NY. He was predeceased by his son, Leon Robert Carman III, brother, Butch and sister, Cindy. He is survived by wife, Helen Sylvester Carman, children, Lee (Chuck) Decker of Old Chatham, NY, William (Julie) Carman of Groveland, Cathy Carman of Groveland, Lisa (Ron) Niedermaier of Groveland, Wendy (Charles) Simmer of Webster, Lew (Beth) Carman of Lakewood, FL, 14 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, brother, Timothy Carman of Waco, TX, sisters, Sarah (Robert) Scheidt of Brickton, NJ, Judy (Ron) Buck of Farmingdale, NJ, Mary Alice (Bert) Zineri of New Windsor, NY, sister in law, Judy Carman of Groveland, many nieces and nephews. He was born October 12, 1931 in Lakewood, NJ the son of Leon and Alice Macauley Carman Sr. Skip was retired from Merrimac Farms in Groveland. Visitation will be held at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home 111 Main St. in Geneseo on Tuesday July 2, 2013 from 4-7 PM where Funeral Services will be held Wednesday, July 3, 2013 at 10 AM.
