Obituary of Madelyn R. Fischer

Madelyn R. Fischer, age 94, of Morgan Estates in Geneseo, died Wednesday, January 13, 2016 at the Livingston County Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Mt. Morris, NY. She was predeceased by her husband, Thomas Fischer in 1997. She is survived by her brother, Ronald Lombardo of Mt. Morris, sisters in law, Josephine Lombardo of Mt. Morris, Lois Mulcahy of Binghamton, brother in law, James (Dorothy) Fischer of IL, many nieces and nephews, several great nieces and nephews and great great nieces and nephews. Madelyn was born November 9, 1921 in Mt. Morris, NY the daughter of Nicholas and Jennie IaDemarco Lombardo. She was a Registered Nurse for Dr. James Bryan in Rochester before her retirement in 1978. Friends may call Friday, January 15, 2016 from 4-8 PM at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo. Her Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday, January 16, 2016 at 10 AM at St. Mary's Church, 4 Avon Rd. in Geneseo with Father Edward Dillon officiating. Burial will be in St. Patrick's Cemetery in Mt.
