Obituary of Joyce M. D. Foster

Joyce M. D. Foster, age 96, of Reservoir Rd. in Geneseo, passed away Thursday, December 10, 2015 peacefully at home in the quiet embrace of her morning nap. She was predeceased by her brother, Harold Hite. She is survived by her husband, Herbert, her daughters, Barrie Fanton of Wellsville, Lorraine (Timothy) Slack of Tucson, AZ, Jacqueline (George) McCausland of Leicester, grandchildren, Lorraine, Ian and Molly Fanton, Bonnie Beard, great grandchildren, Sadie and Oliver Fanton and Shanti Beard. Joyce was born July 16, 1919 in NY, NY the daughter of Saul and Mabel Wolfer Hite. She will always be remembered by her loving family and dear friends for her many virtues that were cultivated every day of her life-humility, patience, compassion, service, generosity, joyfulness, and an unceasing love for God. No prior calling hours. Memorials Services will be private at the convenience of the family. Memorials may be made to the Catholic Charities of Livingston County, 10 Chapel St., Mt. Morris, NY 14510 or a charity of one's choice.
