Obituary of Sarah C. Turner

Sarah C. Turner, 84, of Morgan Estates in Geneseo, died Wednesday, September 9, 2015 at her residence. She was a lifelong resident of Groveland and was predeceased by her husband Larry in 2012. She is survived by her children, Dennis (Lorrie Jo) Turner of Avon, Rob (Grace) Turner of Fowlerville, Karen (Rich) Bertrand of Penfield, grandchildren, Jonathan, Emily (Patrick), Matthew, Justin (Courtney), Casey and James, sister, Roxie T. A 'Uno of Dansville, brother, Russell (Nancy) Toland of Caledonia, many nieces and nephews. Sarah was born September 21, 1930 in Groveland, NY to Merle and Edith Bovee Toland. She was employed as a bank teller at Groveland State Bank and Later HSBC in Groveland Station and retired from Key Bank in Geneseo. Friends may call Saturday, September 19 from 10 AM - 11 AM at Groveland Federated Parish, 6616 Groveland Hill Rd. in Groveland where Memorial Services will follow visitation at 11 AM with Dorothy Hotchkiss officiating. Interment will follow at Lakeview Cemetery in Groveland. Memorials may be made to Groveland Federated Parish, 6616 Groveland Hill Rd., Groveland, NY 14462.
