Obituary of David L. Pattridge

PATTRIDGE, DAVID L. CUYLERVILLE: David L Pattridge, age 64, of 3186 Cuylerville Road, Mt. Morris, NY, died unexpectedly Friday June 15, 2012 at Noyes Memorial Hospital in Dansville, NY. He was born February 15, 1948 in Warsaw, NY the son of the late Lewis and June Everingham Pattridge. He was married July 20, 1985 in Geneseo, NY to Carol Lee Thiele Pattridge, to whom he had been married to for 26 years. David had been employed as a Bus Driver for Adonnino Bros. in Mt. Morris. David went home to play his bugle for God on June 15, 2012. Dave loved helping others, from being a firefighter, formerly with Leicester and Cuylerville Fire Departments, an Emergency Medical Technician formerly with Mt, Morris and Cuylerville Ambulance Services, to Playing Taps for any Military occasion as a member of Bugles Across America. He also loved history and would have earned his Bachelor's Degree in History this October after waiting 45 years. He also loved doing his Civil War re-enactments to educate the public about the hardships of the Civil War. David also umpired Geneseo Little League games for many years. He is survived by his wife Carol Lee, a brother, William Pattridge as well as his parents-in-law Lyle & Helen Thiele along with his cats Smudge & Habanera. Friends may call Wednesday from 1-4 PM at the Faith Fellowship Church, 5630 Pebble Beach Road, (off State Rte 256) where Funeral Services will follow visitation at 4 PM with Rev. Steve Sweeting officiating. Burial will be in Leicester Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
