Obituary of Virginia Mae Andrews

Virginia "Ginny" Mae Andrews, 66, of Sonyea Rd in Mt. Morris, died Thursday, May 31, 2012 at the Conesus Lake Nursing Home in Livonia, NY. She was predeceased by her brother, William Andrews in 1995, and nephew Donald Chapman in 2007. She is survived by her sisters, Betty (Les) Sliker of Leicester, Genevieve Snyder of CA, nieces, Laura (Jim) Scondras of Leicester, Leslie (Mike) Brado of VA, Debbie (John) Hurst of Wyoming, NY, nephew, Dean Chapman of Perry, several grand nieces and grand nephews. She was born November 29, 1945 in Dansville, NY the daughter of Howard and Nellie Whitney Andrews. Virginia graduated from Rochester Business Institute in 1964 and was employeed at Craig Development Center from 1964 to 1982. She was the Personel Clerk for Groveland Correctional Facility from 1982 until her retirement in 2000. Visitation will be held at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo on Sunday, June 3, 2012 from 1-4 PM where Funeral Services will be held Monday, June 4, 2012 at 10 AM with Lucille Kane officiating. Burial will be in Leicester Cemetery in Leicester. In Lieu of Flowers, memorials may be made to Livingston County Hospice, 2 Murray Hill Dr., Mt. Morris, NY 14510.
