OMG,can't believe I peulld up this site, was just checking out on MSN best swimming holes and I thought back 50yrs ago to our cabin ,right down the road from Devil's Hole. Our cabin was The Wright Place right before the wall(sold and since been torn down, except for the stone fireplace) So many great summer memories at Devils Hole-the water was freezing, but we were so young ,we didn't mind. Once and awhile ,we'd meet up with the Boyd girls at there Grandma's cabin and we'd hike on down the road ,pass the Lig.Valley School and up the creek, snicking into Flat Rock. That was better than any water slide I've ever been on.

Dear Kathy & Randy,
I will not be with you today, but my thoughts and prayers surely will be. You both showed your love and total devotion by bringing her close to you. What a beautiful tribute. You gave and gave some more and got so much love in return by seeing your mom happy. Let today give you peace and serenity for the days ahead.
Love, Leslie

No matter how old we are, losing a mother is one of the deepest sorrows a heart can know. But her goodness, her caring and her wisdom live on, like a legacy of love that will always be with you. Our thought and prayers are with you. With deepest sympathy.

Kathy, I would like to express my deepest sympathy to you and the rest of the family for the lost of your Mother , Virginia. She was one great gal and I have many fond memories of our good times together. One never really gets over the loss of a love one and the only consolation we have is that she is no longer in pain and she is up there smiling down upon all of us. Her job on earth was finished and it was her time to go back home. God will take good care of her. You are all in my prayers at this sad time.

We are sorry for your loss. Our prayer is that your tears are soon replaced with the fond memories you have had together and that they bring a smile to your face and joy to your heart.
My fond memory of Aunt Virginia was dinner at Joanne's house with Nancy, Russ, Ron, Roger, Joanne, Aunt Virginia, Jack and my three girls. The girls were small at the time, and Aunt Virginia enjoyed them. A few weeks later she sent them three handmade,(large, medium and small for each girl) beautiful Raggedy Ann dolls. What a wonderfully talented woman she was. Everytime we looked as those beautiful dolls, we thought of the kind lady who made them. She is dancing with the angels now.

Although I didn't know Virginia long she was happiest when she had her Frank Sinatra music playing and her singing along. She always had a beautiful smile for me when I visited her.

My memories are what a lovely lady Virginia was and how much she loved her family. She will be missed by many, but she's in heaven where there is no pain or sorrow. Also, she gave us a wonderful daughter-in-law.
