Obituary of Jerold B. Mazurowski

Jerold B. Mazurowski, 44, of Clay Ave. in Rochester, died suddenly, Wednesday, April 11, 2012 at his residence. Jerold was a long time resident of York. He was predeceased by his mother, Mildred in 2004, and his father, Stanley in 1992. He is survived by his siblings, John (Jeanine) Mazurowski of Freeport, PA, Justin (Michele) Mazurowski of Rochester, Judith (Daniel) Dumar of Lima, Joseph (Rebecca) Marron of Broomfield, CO, James (Noreen) Mazurowski of Avon, Janine (James) Day of Winston-Salem, NC, many nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews. He was born May 23, 1967 in Rochester, NY the son of Stanley and Mildred Smith Mazurowski. Jerold was a graduate of York Central School, earned his Bachelor's of Science Degree in Economics from Syracuse University. He was employed as a machinist at Vette Corporation in Ontario, NY. Visitation will be held at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo on Sunday, April 15, 2012 from 1-4 PM. A Memorial Mass will be held Monday, April 16, 2012 at 10 AM at St. Lucy's Church in Retsof. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Geneseo. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Abbey of the Genesee, 3250 River Rd., Piffard, NY 14533 or to St. Luke's Parish, 13 North St., Geneseo, NY 14454.
