Obituary of Katie Lynne Taft

Katie Lynne Taft, 25, of Lake St. in Scottsburg, died unexpectedly Saturday, February 11, 2012 at her residence. She is survived by her fiance, Dustin Ardillo, parents, Thomas "Tucker" and Cheryl Taft of Scottsburg, grandmother, Marilyn Porter of Dansville, several aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her grandmother, Helen Joy. She was born December 8, 1986 in Warsaw, NY the daughter of Thomas and Cheryl Joy Taft. Katie attended Warsaw High School and received an Associates Degree from Genesee Community College. Visitation will be held at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo, on Wednesday February 15, 2012 from 3-5 PM where Memorial Services will follow visitation at 5 PM. Interment will be in Union Cemetery in Scottsburg. Memorials may be directed to the family.
