Our thoughts and prayers go out to James and family. Ralph has fond memories of his Violin lessons with Linda in the late 70s. What a specail lady. She will be missed by many.

Linda is a person of gentle spirit. When the RPO played the slow movement of TCHAIKOVSKY Symphony No. 3, all I can think of is Linda. She is just like the beautiful melody that touches you.

Linda was my teacher in Geneseo. She taught me some difficult pieces in a lovely personal way. One time we traded off wearing a springy bee antenna headband - say what you will, it was instructive - music is serious but not so serious that we can't be real people through it. I would not have had the courage to pursue music if it had not been for Linda. She was pivotal for me, a testament to the effect one person can have on the life of another. RIP Linda.
