Obituary of Francis G. Gilbert

Francis G. "Mushy" Gilbert, 82, of Center St. in Geneseo, died Thursday, January 12, 2012 at Livingston County Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Mt. Morris, NY. He is survived by 3 daughters, Rhonda (John) Farmer, Rene Gilbert both of Geneseo, Sadie Briggs of Rochester, 3 granddaughters, Jessica, Shauna, Siobhan, 2 great grandchildren, 2 sisters, Harriet Chesterton of AZ, Janice (Clause) Hohensee of MI, several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife Racene Gilbert, and his brother Harold Gilbert. He was born November 27, 1929 in Mt. Morris, NY the son of Harold and Mary Ellen Buchanan Gilbert. Francis was a US Army Korean War Veteran. He was a member of VFW Post 5005 in Geneseo. Francis retired from the Rochester Gas and Electric Company Geneseo branch. He also was a member of the Central Presbyterian Church in Geneseo. No prior Calling Hours. Funeral Services will be held Saturday, January 14, 2012 at 2 PM at Central Presbyterian Church with Rev.
