Obituary of Leatha J. Baird

Leatha J. Baird, 77, died Thursday, September 29, 2011 at the Livingston County Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation in Mt. Morris, NY. Leatha resided on Reservoir Rd. in Geneseo for many years prior to her entry into the nursing home. She is survived by her daughter Joan (Pat Van Metter) Baird of Geneseo, her son, Mark (Pat) Baird of Conesus, and granddaughter, Heather Baird of Conesus, several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Adrian R. Baird in 1988. She was born February 16, 1934 in Bloomington, Indiana. Leatha was retired from Campus Auxiliary Services at SUNY Geneseo. Her family would like to extend their thanks to the staff at the Livingston County Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation for the wonderful care Leatha received from them during her stay there. Private Funeral Services were held Saturday, October 1, 2011 with Burial in Mt. Pleasant Cemetery in Geneseo. Memorials may be made to Hearthside Cats, PO Box 282, Geneseo, NY 14454.
