Obituary of Ruth Irene Parks

Ruth Irene Parks, 85, of Titus Court in Irondequoit, died Thursday, September 8, 2011 at St. John's Home in Rochester, NY where she had been a resident since June of 2011. She is survived by numerous cousins including Anna Jane (Cleon) Vosler, Eleanor Baker, Chuck (Geri) McLaughlin, Karen Tanis, David (Krista) Vosler, Richard (Beth) Vosler, Rebecca (Robert) Babanats, Roger Cook, and Richard (Donna) Ellis. Ruth was born February 11, 1926 at Highland Hospital in Rochester, NY. She retired from Bausch and Lomb in Rochester and was a member of the Early Settlers Club. Ruth was a member of the Service Board of the Rochester Presbyterian Home and former volunteer at the Strong Museum. Visitation will be held at the York United Presbyterian Church on Thursday, September 18, 2011 from 1-2 PM where Funeral Services will follow visitation at 2 PM with Rev. Lee Prong officiating.
