Obituary of John E. Staley Jr.

John E. Staley Jr., 69, of West Lake Rd. in Geneseo died Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at his residence. He is survived by 1 son, Eric (Cathy) Staley of Elmira, NY, Siobhan (Greg) Hummel of Philadelphia, PA, grandchildren, Jane, Meredith and Vivien Hummel all of Philadelphia, PA, 2 brothers, Steven (Ruth) Staley of FL, Geoffrey (Lucille) Staley of Geneseo, NY, nieces and nephews. John was born May 26, 1941 in Geneseo, NY the son of John and Jean Dwyer Staley Sr. John was a graduate of Geneseo High School. He was a US Air Force Vietnam War veteran. John was a well known local self employed contractor. Visitation will be held at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo on Saturday March 12, 2011 from 10AM-12 Noon. Memorial Services will be Private. Interment will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Geneseo. Memorials may be made to the 1941 Historical Aircraft Group, PO Box 185, Geneseo, NY 14454.
