Obituary of Joseph Spose Jr.

Joseph Spose Jr., 75, a resident at Monroe Community Hospital in Rochester, died Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at Highland Hospital in Rochester, NY. Mr. Spose had previously resided in Gates and Retsof, NY. He is survived by his daughter, Tracy Goffin of Leroy, IN, son, Joseph Spose of Rochester, grandchildren, Jason, Ryan, Sarah and Rachael Goffin, Joseph, Brandon, Tyler and Ashton Spose, great granddaughter, Christina, sister, Sarah Affronti of Arcade, several nieces and nephews. Joeseph was born September 14, 1935 in Rochester, NY the son of Joseph and Carrie Alaimo Spose Sr. He was a graduate of York High School and served in the National Guard from 1960-1963. He was retired from Local Union # 46 Sheet Metal Workers in Rochester. Friends may call on Saturday, May 7, 2011 from 10-11 AM at St. Lucy's Church in Retsof where a Funeral Mass will follow visitation at 11 AM. Burial will be in St. Mary's Cemetery in Geneseo.
