Obituary of Maureen B. Woodburn

Maureen B. Woodburn, 93, of Creekside Dr. in Rush, died Tuesday, January 18, 2011 at the Wyoming County Nursing Home in Warsaw, NY where she had been a resident for 3 years. Mrs. Woodburn was a resident of Piffard, NY before moving to Rush. She is survived by 2 sons, Bruce Woodburn of Rochester, Keith Woodburn of Caledonia, several grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, and dear friend, Leola Porter of Rush. She was preceded in death by 3 sisters, 1 brother and her special friend Howard Schenkel. She was born January 5, 1918 in Batavia, NY the daughter of Bernard and Johanna Reichenbach Sellhorst. Maureen was a member of the Geneseo United Methodist Church and the Order of the Eastern Star. She was a retired manicurist from McCurdy's Department Store in Midtown, Rochester. Maureen enjoyed caring for her dogs and cats while living at her home in Rush. No prior calling hours. Funeral services will be held Friday, January 21, 2011 at 11 AM at the Rector-Hicks Funeral Home, 111 Main St. in Geneseo with Rev. Keith Griswold of the Geneseo United Methodist Church officiating.
